(Throw-Back) Photo Of The Day “Red Climber”

Red Climber

I found this little guy while I was climbing on the Delaware River Viaduct one day in October of ’09.  Overall, the scenery is rather bland.  It is kind of fun to be able to walk out across the Delaware River and route 80, though.  The red leaves of this viney plant caught my eye as the seemed to glow in the sun light.  I like that the vines are growing up the broken concrete structure sparsely covered with spray paint graffiti.  It’s the slow-but-sure reclaiming of man-made objects by nature, a subject I am rather intrigued by.  This image was shot at ƒ8 for 1/100 of a second @ ISO100.
